The Ethics Hotline is a channel to report unethical behaviors in a confidential, safe, easy to use and anonymous manner, operated by EthicsGlobal, a leading independent third party in the country specialized in handling complaints and reports.
An Organization’s integrity has a direct impact on its reputation and success. Thus, when we demonstrate trustworthiness, our customers, suppliers, community and competitors perceive us as honest and fair. In addition, our reputation grows positively.
Conducting ourselves with integrity is not always easy and acting appropriately can even be challenging. . It can be quite complex to search through different laws, regulations, policies and procedures that apply us.
Nevertheless, acting with integrity is not complicated. If you have questions regarding the correct way to act, or if a person is not acting according to the behavior expected by Grupo BAL, you have the duty to report it, and the right to count on safe, easy, confidential and anonymous means to do so.
Your manager or immediate supervisor is a means for this too, but if you do not consider it the best option or you have been unheard, you can use our Ethics Hotline.
We are committed to review each and every case, and if the case requires further research, to conduct a thorough investigation to penalize or apply corrective measures whenever applicable.
It is your choice to provide your name and contact information, it is not necessary however to identify yourself; thus you can submit a report anonymously.

The Ethics Hotline operated by EthicsGlobal guarantees the anonymity of the whistleblowers at the time of filing a report by any means available to them.
Fear is understandable, especially if the situation is serious and/or close to the whistleblower. The third party mediation seeks to guarantee the safety thus there is nothing to fear. You will not be forced to provide any information if you do not want to.
Status of the investigation will be disclosed. Content and results of the investigation are confidential, so the complainants are not disclosed.
The Ethics Hotline can be used to file a report or track a previous report. When you file a report, you will be asked for information about the incident in the most detailed possible manner.

You can access the Ethics Hotline at any time to provide new information or report a recidivism using your tracking code. If the fact or problem persists, you can file a new report.
Internal faults can seriously damage Grupo BAL’s heritage, and eventually affect the workers. A single fraud, for instance, can result in losses that force the reduction of the workers' plant, salaries or benefits. In the most severe situations, these incidents have caused bankruptcy of large companies. Helping to avoid unethical behaviors is aimed, in short, to protect the safety of your own job and that of your colleagues. Furthermore, reporting behaviors that threaten the integrity and well-being of all members of the organization helps to improve the work environment.
To develop and strengthen a culture of ethics, besides improving the work environment. This mean also encourages reporting irregular behaviors through a safe, reliable, objective and independent platform, with the goal to provide for a professional and high-quality service.
All members of Grupo BAL are compelled to report offenses to the Code of Ethics and Conduct; if you are aware or witness a major offense and do not report it, you may be entitled to a penalization by the Organization.
